Ferret Race Night This Saturday!
The World Cup is all but over, Murray didn’t win Wimbledon (again) and there’s still a few more sleeps until the summer holidays. So how do you rekindle some summer excitement? Syston Town has the answer – the first (and possibly only) Ferret Race Night! The weekend weather is looking superb, the ferrets are in full training, The BBQ has been dusted down and the bar has been properly stocked!
A huge thank you to everyone who has supported this event already. Elgoods brewery will be supplying a barrel of fine ale in the form of Golden Newt - huge thanks to Marcus Beecher who has helped with this.
Thank you to the race sponsors who have already paid their £20 to sponsor a race. We still have 5 races that have no sponsor so please do contact us if you want your name in lights on Saturday night. Thanks though must go to Britannia Labels, Ken and Scott Cooper and Sunliving Travel.

This is already being billed as the most anticipated event of Syston Town CC’s season and you can be part of it. The night starts at 7:30pm with the first race going at 8:00pm. There will be a BBQ, Real Ale on top of the already well stocked bar and of course plenty of chances to bet on these furry creatures!
